Sometimes when I'm talking to someone, and we're fighting about something

I really just need your hugs

Sometimes when I feel alone and forgotten, and things aren't going too well

I really just need you by my side

When the things I fight within are trying to take over, and I feel sad

I really thank you for being around

And when I don't want to talk to anyone else, and I'm sort of mad

I'm glad I have your little hand in mine
