Rainy Days

I like rainy days
I think they let me feel
I feel the way they are some times
So, rainy days are good.

They remind me life isn't only sun
But there is rain and there is gray
They remind me it's OK to be a little sad
Because the sun has gone away.

So, I like a long rainy day
They really ain't so bad
I feel like them often anyway
And things are brighter when they're done.

I don't always need to sulk under the hood
Making weary, dry, pointless rhymes
I can slowly heal
I like rainy days.
