Tuesday Color on Saturday

Well, it looks like I missed Tuesday again. Oh, well. Too bad.
Here is some color from a recent sunrise.

I woke up and opened the blinds to see this.

So, I naturally shot some photos.

And this is what the colorful girl looks like minutes after getting out of bed.

Dancing Fingers

Part of being of a colorful nature includes dancing fingers, for me at least.

I have loved playing the piano since I was quite young. I started playing by ear about when I first became interested, and I have been playing by ear ever since. I did attempt taking lessons a couple different times, but I enjoy playing on my own.

My fingers really do seem to dance across the keyboard sometimes. Other times I have to force something to come out. If I am alone and playing in a capturing setting, I can really go places.

I live in an old White House with an old piano that is out of tune. I still play because it helps my heart to sing.

"Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant."
~Psalm 135:3

The Color of Roses

I definitely did not post on Tuesday, but that is OK. This is just a blog.

I was in a beautiful friend's wedding and we had regal bouquets.

Also, one of my room mates gave me a bouquet of flowers. Now I am drying the roses.

I love the white with pink trim.

That Curl Girl

Being the "colorful" girl that I am, sometimes I just have had to learn to roll with it. That is, even when my sometimes obnoxious hair is wild, I just keep living my life. I guess those curls add to the color. I am glad I feel free to go about life without feeling the need to straighten my hair, wear make up, tan, etc. I think part of being a colorful person is enjoy the colors God gave you. Seriously, teenager disease (that lasts longer than just teenage) is not that bad.

God has made me beautiful in His image. That is not to boost my self-esteem, but to give glory to His creativity. His goodness and power. He is perfect in all His ways.

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
~Psalm 139:14

He keeps falling in front of my face...

So, I pick him up and put him on top of my head, right before he falls again.

Flowers of Summer, Fall, and Winter

I grew up in North Carolina, where flowers bloom pretty much every of month of the year. Therefore, I decided to put together a plethora of flower pictures, starting in August and going through January.
Just look at all this color God puts in all the different kinds of flowers! He is a gracious and beautiful God.

A rose, actually in SC.

I think this was in September at our house.

A black-eyed Susan also at our house.

A wild flower on the roadside.

Farm and flowers

I love the morning glories. I think they came out around September or October.

They filled the field with their bright color.

Another wild flower in the field.

A rose I drew.

A November Azalea.

December wild flower.

Two different December/January dandy-lions. I like the first one better.

I think this was January.

This was actually from the store and it was in Minnesota, but it's still pretty in winter.
